COTTON Architecture studio is an architectural practice established in 2020 in Athens, Greece. Our focus is the architectural design of any scale from the design of a building complex to the detail of interior needs. Working across Greece, we undertake projects in urban centers and the countryside.

Philosophy

Our aim is to create shelters of happiness preserving the uniqueness of the place. Together with our clients, we discuss needs and desires in order to make each project as unique as every person and place is.
Across our work, our goal is to limit the environmental impact in our design as much as possible.

Services

We manage projects from conceptualization to construction: our services include advice on licensing, building regulations and due diligence, interior design & landscape architecture. A network of specialized partners allows to deliver projects to a wide assortment of customers and needs. We collaborate with trusted consultants and companies offering services in mechanical and civil engineering, land surveying, lighting design and construction.

Andreas Adam (founder)

Andreas Adam, is the base of the office.
Graduate of the Department of Architectural Engineering of the University of Patras, professional trombone player with a keen eye for detail.
His drive to learn, his determination to handle tasks independently, and his love for designing and creating unique living spaces are complemented by his extensive knowledge of legislations, and thus offering a holistic approach on the issue ‘’how should we design’’

Peni Filini (co-founder)

On the other hand, Peni Filini gives the energy in the office. Graduate of the Department of Architectural Engineering of the University of Patras. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture, Agricultural University of Athens. Her deep passion for nature drives her to explore innovative ways in which natural elements can play an important role in the design process. Her inspiration for new projects stems from the orientation, the view, and the essence of each place. The site – landscape can always help to find the answer on ‘’how do we design’’.
